The brand new IC-A16E (V22) from ICOM with 25kHz/8.33kHz channel spacing and powerful 1.5W transmit power (CW) and 6W transmit power (PEP) offers many features in proven ICOM quality.

With a maximum peak output power of 6 W, the IC-A16E is the most powerful handheld aeronautical radio under £1000, alongside the IC-A25 devices.

Loud audio
Specially adapted for aeronautical radio and the conditions at aerodromes, the very loud 1500 mW audio output with excellent frequency response delivers perfect speech intelligibility in all situations.

Easy to use
Another outstanding feature of the IC-A16E is its easy one-handed operation, thanks to the combination of the ICOM IC-A16E's particularly small and lightweight housing with clearly labelled large buttons and a robust rotary knob. The keypad and display are backlit for easy operation even at night.

Long battery life
The modern 7.2V Li-ion battery allows up to 17 hours of normal use.

Robust construction
Even in poor weather conditions, the water- and dust-protected construction of the housing with IP67 protection rating ensures reliable operation.
