Products description
Electronic oxygen system for single-seaters
The new second generation – 2G!The EDS now has a robust rotary switch that offers greater reliability, easier operation and better visibility of the set function. The circuit board has been completely redesigned and a new microcontroller is used. This allows the pilot's breathing to be monitored more effectively, reduces power consumption and allows the altitude-dependent oxygen supply to be adjusted more effectively.
The multi-coloured status display now allows the battery status to be monitored. The device responds to each press of the rotary switch with a beep and green flashing to confirm the actions.
The O2D2 has a 600 ohm stereo audio jack and a USB-compatible (5 V DC) external power connection. If you forget to turn off the EDS after use, it will now automatically deactivate after 3 hours without breathing to save power. This keeps the batteries fit for the next flight!
F1-4 mode, for use with face masks or when more oxygen is required.
Size: 80 x 130 x 20 mm (W x H x D)
Weight: only 230 g (including batteries)
The smallest and lightest oxygen device that provides a constant volume of oxygen per breathing cycle at any breathing rate and automatically responds to changes in altitude. Previous lung regulators consume more than twice as much oxygen.
The much lower oxygen consumption means that a smaller and lighter oxygen cylinder can be used. No permanent installation in the aircraft is required. FAA approved.
