DYNEEMA plastic rope for winches

Plastic rope is superior to conventional wire rope in many respects. Particularly for rope lengths >1000m, the towing height is measurably greater, partly due to the lower drag caused by the smaller rope cross-section.
Depending on the application, its service life is approximately at least twice that of a wire rope. This is provided the rope is handled ‘appropriately’; in particular, stony ground significantly increases the external wear on the synthetic rope. The Dyneema synthetic rope has already proved itself very well in many clubs.
