This service can only be booked for Classic FLARM units (black box) of the F5xxxx, F6xxxx, F7xxxx and F9xxxx series!
For F5xxxx and F6xxx devices are only a few spareparts avialable, so the repair might be impossible. In this case, the inspection must of course still be paid for.
Procedure:
Please download the service order and fill in the upper part. Each FLARM unit you send in requires a separate form.
Send your device with the form insured to us, we will then check the device.
Basic service
It includes a check of the serial interface (function and condition of the sockets), the housing and the transmitting and receiving power of the FLARM radio part. The firmware of the unit is updated to the latest version.
Initial service for ClassicFLARM F5xxxx and F6xxxx:
For all units manufactured before 2007, a modification of the radio receiver part is carried out to increase the resistance against static discharges. This modification is always mandatory if it has not yet been carried out. The decision is made in our workshop when the unit is here and is inspected.
GPS check:
The built-in GPS receiver is checked for functionality with our reference antenna.
SD card reader check:
The card reader is checked for reading and writing using a standard USB stick.
